Relay 0.6.10
This release makes sync more reliable after sleep and network changes, and tightens how Relay stores keys and attachments.
Improved
- Sync restarts on its own after your Mac wakes, reconnects, or switches networks, so messages no longer hang until a timeout.
- Encrypted attachments stay encrypted in the local cache and are decrypted only when you open them.
- Session keys stay on this Mac and are excluded from backups.
- Room keys are shared only with devices that are cross-signed.
- The search field reads "Search".
Fixed
- Rooms with an unread mention keep their red badge and the Dock count after relaunch.
- Sync on continuwuity and tuwunel servers no longer loops, which fixes constant activity and high CPU use.
- Notification settings load more reliably and fall back to sensible defaults if the server can't be reached.
- Servers that issue non-expiring sign-in tokens no longer produce repeated authentication errors.
- The room list switches to the compact layout when the sidebar is at its narrowest.
- The Recent Activity list holds at most 10 entries.
